Hung's Delicacies (阿鴻小吃), North Point, Hong Kong

This restaurant is situated in a residential area where you will never thought of you will find a gem here! We are glad to arrive here for the first round of the dinner session and we don't have to queue up long for our table.
Queue After We Finished :D
When you look at the menu, there is basically anything you can think of from a duck or goose are on it. There is no wastage! Why is this restaurant so popular? It has to do with the sauce (滷水) they used.

First of all we have to order the favourite, marinated goose slices. It is so fatty and tasty!

Anthony Kitchen, Sai Kung, Hong Kong

Where to go for seafood when you are in Hong Kong? Sai Kung is the place! It is quite an interesting experience for me. You can either buy your seafood directly from the fishermen or from the shop itself. What I mean to buy direct from the fishermen?

After we bought our seafood, we brought them to Mrs S's favourite restaurant. We were lucky enough to grab a seat for the night, as they were fully booked!

Tommy's Beer Cafe, Glebe

When I walk pass this restaurant, I always see people inside. This must be a sign of good food! :) Finally I have a chance to dine in it and I have prepared myself on an empty stomach for the meat that I am going to eat. :p
Our Dishes Ordered
I haven't tried duck sausages before, so I ordered it as entree. However, it wasn't what I expected and I can only taste the chili.
Duck Sausage
Mr Nikon wants to have some pork crackling. Some of the crackling is too hard which I cant even bite it off.
Pork Crackling
After the bad start to our entrees, the pork belly is quite juicy and tender. The crackling is crispy! One bad thing about it is that the serving is a bit small comparing to other dishes.
Pork Belly
Miss J wants to try their Vienna Schnitzel which is veal schnitzel with kipfler potato, steamed vegetables and pickled gherkin aioli. The veal is moist and I cant stop eating those potatoes!
Vienna Schnitzel
We cant missed out on the sausages and order the tonight special, Mixed Sausage Platter!

We were so full which we have skipped the desert! :)

Petaling Street, Sydney

After my trip to Malaysia, I would love to find a restaurant which has similar hawker food. Miss Laughter highly recommends Petaling Street. As the name suggested, I would expect some authentic Malaysian hawker food. Since it was our late supper, we only tried some dishes. The food didn't disappoint. Miss Laughter and I already arranged another date to go back for a proper meal! :)

Bills, Darlinghurst

How do you normal start your day? Today I start off with a very nice breakfast at Bills, Darlinghurst.
Sweet Corn Fritters with Roast Tomato, Spinach and Bacon; Side - Avocado Salsa
The avocado salsa is so yummy and goes well with the corn fritters.
Scrambled Eggs with Sourdough Toast, Bacon and Button Mushrooms with Garlic Confit
The scramble eggs is so creamy and you wanna have more.
Ricotta Hotcakes with Fresh Banana and Honeycomb Butter
Out of the three, ricotta hotcakes is slightly not as good as others. But it is still a good way to start a day! :)
Hot Chocolate
When they bring this hot chocolate, I thought this is very interesting hot chocolate. After a deep look and found they use chocolate chip instead of syrup. Nice!

Hyde Park Barracks Cafe, Sydney

It feels like as if you are tourist when you stepped inside the Hyde Park Barracks. However, I am here for the cafe as it is close to where I work. Sadly, I am going back to work after brunch on a weekend! :( Before my battle, I think I should reward myself for some nice food.
Jasmine Tip
They have a wide range of beverages selection. It took me awhile whether to go for tea or coffee. At the end I have gone for a green tea, jasmine tip.
French Toast
The french toast (golden French toast with Camp maple syrup, mascapone and strawberries)  is pefectly balanced. It is not too sweet.

Savoury Ricotta Hot Cakes
Savoury ricotta hot cakes with smoked salmon and drill creme friache took around 20 minutes to make. The wait is all worth it... it is so divine!!

It is a nice start of the day... now I have to go back to my "battlefield". :(

Ensign Dale Restaurant & Lounge Bar, York

We are travelling in Western Australia. We have a stopover at York before we are heading to the Wave Rock the next morning. Since we arrived the town late, we freshen up and to head to the town to look for something to eat.
Main Street, York
It is a very quiet town. Most of the shops are closed, only a few which is still open. This town makes me feel like as if I have travelled back in time!

Settlers House
We have chosen the one which is located within the Settlers House. We were seated outside to enjoy the quietness there.
Since we are not too hungry, we are sharing the dishes. We started off with an entree, deep fried Camembert. They have used the sourness of the cherries to make the cheese not too greasy.
The duck is not bad either. The highlight is the bed of creamy risotto.
The steak is cooked to my request. It is juicy and tender.
York Town Hall (Took it the following morning)
I didnt have any expectation in this small town to have an unexpected found!

Sunflower Cafe, Ultimo

After my trip to Taiwan, I always want to find a Taiwanese restaurant in Sydney to satisfy my craving.
Beef Noodle Soup
The beef is tender and the soup is rich. It will better if the beef is in chunky style.
Pork Chop
Noodle Soup (Pork Chop on the Side)
Another favourite of mine is the pork chip noodle soup. They serve the pork chop on the side which made it still crispy. Love it!
Pan Fried Dumpling
The pan fried dumplings are narrow and thin. It is not similar to the Chinese style. It is really crispy which is to my liking!

I am sure I will come back here for my Taiwanese food craving. :D
