Luxe Espresso, Newtown

We always go to the coffee shop next door and notice this cafe Luxe Espresso and would like to try this out one day. Since the weather wasn't good for cycling, we changed our plan to have brunch to this long waited cafe. :)

There are two communal tables and a few smaller tables. We were seated at the communal table to fit us all. :)

I have to quickly order a cup coffee to give myself a wake up boost. Although the coffee is not as good as the one I had next door, but it has done its job! Nice!

Chicken (Sorry forgot what I've ordered)

Since the cafe is packed with customers, our food has taken its time to come. Finally our sandwiches has arrived. I quickly dig into it. Of course it's after being photo taken! :D

Wagyu Sandwiches

My friend ordered Wagyu Sandwiches which she found it's like corned silverside? :p

Scramble Eggs with Sourdough. Extra sausage and mushroom

My other friend has ordered the scramble eggs with sourdough with extra sausage and mushroom.

Banana Bread

With our sweet tooth, we shared the banana bread. The waitress recommended us without toasting it. It is the nicest banana bread I ever had! It is not feel as oily and heavy as others. I am sure I will go back for more.

Before I go, I have got myself a few of the sourdough and rye bread! :)

Nutty Bread

Walked past Luneburger German Bakery and saw a quene waiting to buy their bread. Then the word "pretzel" was floating in my mind. So my legs walk towards the counter and see if there is any left... ohoh... there is last one still there! I waited anxiously hoping no one in front of me is buying that last one!! By the time I reached the counter and ready for someone to serve me, that last one is still there, hooray!!

I scanned my eyes across the back of the shelf and saw there are a few loaves of bread available... Wholemeal Rye Bread, Sunflower Seed Bread and Pumpkin Seed Bread... which one should I get... which one?? Thinking I still have a loaf at home in the freezer... oh well the one in the freezer is not yet ready to eat today... so I might as well buy a fresh one now to eat!! So I asked for both Pretzel and Pumpkin Seed Bread... yummy!! Happy with what I bought. :)

I cant resist the Pretzel sitting inside the brown paper bag, so I was muching it during my ride home. It was so nice and yummy... soft inside and a bit of chewy outside. Very satisfying.

Oh... now I have to avoid walking past this Bakery... and stop buying the Pretzel!!!

Artisan Bread at Brasserie Bread, Banksmeadow

Finally it's the weekend... yeah and went to in the middle of no where industrial area to find this Artisan Bread cafe. There is no off street parking near the front of the cafe, so have to drive down further to a nicely shaded area. :D
First we walked past a glass window which you can see a lot kids playing with the dough making their own bread. Then we walked into the cafe/shop area. When I walked into the shop and saw that this cafe is packed with people, thinking this must be good!! So we tried to locate ourselves for a table... luckily we didnt need to wait and find ourselves seats. :D
Then reading the menu... everything looks so yummy and think which one should I order?? I want to try so many things... can I fit all of them in? So I asked, "can we share??" so now at least I can tried 2 different things! good!! :) But we ordered our food first, then dessert later.

Waited for not so long, our coffee came first, then later our food. Yum! :D
Allpress Mocha

After finishing our main... thinking oh... still have room for desserts... since we were here... must try their signature dish... Sourdough Pancakes Stack!!! The honeycomb cream and seasonal berries sauce are sensational.
